Charity of the year

April 2008 saw us officially launch Help the Aged/Childline as our Charity of the Year.

Voted for by staff, we aim to raise over £1.5million to:

Launch a unique and vital training programme for the community services that will deliver essential information on elder abuse
Provide a range of elder abuse leaflets that will supply vital help and information to older people, their families, carers and care professionals
Support children and young people in danger or distress; and
Provide training for more Childline volunteer counsellors.
