Morrisons and The Sunday Mail have launched their search for Scotland 's unsung heroes and community champions, who will be recognised at the 18th Annual Great Scot Awards on the 20th September 2008.
We would like to hear stories of those who have shown remarkable courage, battled diversity or who work tirelessly to improve their local community. These are truly remarkable Scots and deserve recognition for their outstanding efforts.
Make sure you encourage customers, family, friends and colleagues to nominate someone who deserves to win - someone who has achieved the extraordinary.

Morrisons has launched a competition to find a budding chef, to create a great Scottish menu, for the prestigious Great Scot Awards.
The search is on for aspiring chefs, aged between 16 and 24, to create and cook a menu that showcases what is great about Scottish food and produce. The winning menu will be turned into a banquet by chefs at the Glasgow Hilton and dished out to 750 guests at the Great Scot Awards, in September.
