It was a testing time for children from Weans Worlds Summer Scheme in Johnstone today, as they were invited by Stephen Bannan, the general manager of the new Morrisons store at Napier Street in Johnstone, to come and try out the store’s restaurant before it opens to the public at 9am on Monday, 30th July.
As well as tasting the food, it also give the store’s new staff the chance to try out their serving skills in the restaurant that will be offering shoppers a wide range of hot and cold meals and snacks throughout the day, including the Morrisons famous Big Breakfast.
"We all know that children say exactly what they think so we decided that they would be the best judge of our children’s menu, which features innovative snack pack meals. Meanwhile, the Weans World staff can tell us what they think of our adult selection," said Stephen Bannan, store general manager of Morrisons Johnstone.
