Morrisons has picked up two prestigious titles at the national awards for The Pizza Pasta and Italian Food Association (PAPA) held last week: Supermarket Fresh Pasta Retailer of the Year and Supermarket Fresh Pizza Retailer of the Year.
Morrisons won the awards for the quality, value for money, performance, growth and development of its product range and its support of the fresh pasta and fresh pizza categories.

Each entry is judged both on the performance of the business in the sector as well as the product range, quality and support given to the category over the past 12 months. Morrisons has shone this year – again – making it stand out from competitors across both categories. The retailer has a fresh pasta and pizza range to be proud of and so deserves to be crowned Retailer of the Year in both of these categories.”
Throughout the year Morrisons has launched new lines and varieties of fresh pasta and fresh pizza, plus regular product price promotions, to encourage customers to try something different. Great tasting new products from Morrisons include our Italian Inspired Pre-Packed Pizzas, featuring flavours such as “Spinach & Ricotta” and “Mediterranean Vegetable”, and our new Best Gemelli Pasta.
