- Bring a large pan of lightly salted water to the boil and cook the potatoes for 15 minutes, add the grated apple and cook for a further 5 minutes. Drain well and mash thoroughly with the mustard and butter.
- While the potatoes are cooking, grill the pork chops for 10 minutes each side, until cooked through; serve the chops with a generous mound of apple and mustard mash.
Cooks Tip
When making mash, always use a floury potato, such as King Edward or Maris Piper – that way you’re guaranteed a smooth texture.
