Blueberry and apple trifles

A tempting apple trifle, topped with juicy blueberries.

Ingredients

  • 3 Bramley apples
  • 1 tbsp golden caster sugar
  • 150g blueberries
  • 15 sponge fingers
  • 500g Morrisons Ready to Serve Eat Smart Custard
  • 300g natural yogurt

Method

  1. Peel and core the apple and cut into chunks. Place in a saucepan with the sugar and 1 tbsp water.
  2. Cook the apple over a medium heat for 10 minutes or until it has collapsed to a puree.
  3. Reserve 1 tbsp blueberries and stir the remainder into the apple puree.
  4. Halve the sponge fingers and arrange in six 200ml serving bowls.
  5. Pour the apple mixture over the sponge fingers and leave to cool.
  6. Pour the custard on top and spoon over the yogurt.
  7. Decorate with the remaining blueberries.
