Chilli potatoes

A great party nibble or spicy alternative to fries.

Ingredients

  • 500g cooked leftover potatoes, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • 2 cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt flakes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

To serve
Mayonnaise or salsa

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F/200C/Gas 6. Spread out the potatoes on a non-stick baking tray.
  2. Mix together the crushed garlic, chilli flakes, paprika, salt and olive oil and brush evenly over the potatoes.
  3. Roast for 35 minutes, turning halfway through cooking until crunchy and browned. Serve hot with mayonnaise or salsa for dipping.
