David Ciabatta with Parma Ham

A classy midfielder with stamina - sure to keep you going until the final whistle!

Ingredients

  • 2 individual ciabatta rolls
  • 1 tbsp pesto sauce
  • 40g Parma ham, sliced
  • 50g roasted peppers
  • 70g Mozzarella, torn into pieces
  • freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1. Preheat the grill to medium.
  2. Slice the rolls in half and spread each cut side with a little pesto sauce.
  3. Top with Parma ham, a few roasted peppers and Mozzarella. Season with freshly ground black pepper.
  4. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese just begins to melt and turns golden brown.

Cooks Tip: This recipe would work equally well with French bread, focaccia or even crusty white rolls. Experiment!
