Strawberries and citrus cream

Simply add a dusting of sugar to this summer classic.

Ingredients

  • 454g strawberries, green tops removed and halved
  • 2 tsp caster sugar
  • juice and grated rind of 1 orange
  • 175ml double cream

Method

  1. Place the strawberries in a bowl and sprinkle with the sugar. Toss gently and leave to one side.
  2. Whisk together the orange juice, rind and double cream, until soft peaks are formed.
  3. Serve the strawberries with a big dollop of citrus cream and a sprig of mint.
