Cranberry sauce with port and orange

Ingredients

  • 200g cranberries, fresh or thawed if frozen 
  • 100g golden caster sugar 
  • 1 orange, grated rind and juice  
  • 1 tbsp Taylors LBV Port

Method

  1. Place the cranberries, sugar and orange rind and juice in a small pan and heat gently until the sugar dissolves.  
  2. Simmer for 5 minutes or until the berries are soft.   
  3. Stir in the port and leave to cool.
