Now in its 4th year, the Let's Grow programme aims to help schools capture the imagination of the nation's children by showing them where food comes from and inspiring them to grow their own fruit and veg in the school grounds.
Since our campaign began, over 24,500 schools have taken part and 5 million children up and down the UK now have access to Let’s Grow gardening equipment. Incredibly, that means half of the UK’s children can get stuck into gardening and learn about where real food comes from.
“It’s great to be involved with Let’s Grow again this year as I believe it’s really important that children understand where their food comes from, but more importantly that gardening is fun! Let’s help even more children across the UK discover a love for gardening with Let’s Grow”. Diarmuid Gavin, Let’s Grow brand ambassador
How does it work?
Taking part in Let’s Grow 2011 is easy. Whether you’ve got a large school field, or no field at all, you can get involved and get children of all ages growing!
Once your school is registered, make sure you ask pupils, parents and friends to collect Let’s Grow vouchers at their local Morrisons from Monday 22nd August (Scotland) or Monday 5th September (England and Wales) until Sunday 30th October 2011. For every £10 spent, customers receive one voucher – redeemable against any of the great equipment in our Let’s Grow catalogue.
