At Morrisons, we care about the eggs we sell, the farm they came from and how the hens that lay them are looked after. Currently almost half of our own brand eggs are laid by free range hens. Our goal is to make it 100% by 2010, and our commitment has won us a Good Egg Award.
To help us get there, we’ve created Egg Tracker. We stamp our own brand corn fed free range eggs twice, on the farm and in the packing house, which means that they are fully traceable. Right now, you can trace our corn fed free range eggs from the North West of England. Just look for the boxes with the wheresmyeggfrom.com sticker on them. More and more of our corn fed free range eggs will be introduced in the coming months. All these eggs will be traceable through Egg Tracker.
Even if your eggs don’t have a code, you can still use Egg Tracker to find out more about our corn fed free range egg farmers. Just pick a code in the drop down menu and get tracking.
