John Gilhooley is the Store General Manager for the new Morrisons store in Leigh. A retail veteran, John has more than 25 years experience in retail and has worked his way up through the business, working across Cheshire, Staffordshire and Greater Manchester. During his career, he has been involved in seven new store openings, three conversions and six refits.
John commented: “We’re all very excited to be opening and are busy planning and preparing the new store day and night to make sure it is ready. Our offer is second to none and I am confident that the shoppers of Leigh will be wowed by what they will see.”
A Manchester City football supporter, John lives in Sale and is a father of two. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and visiting the USA, and has a passion for rollercoasters and fast rides.
