Meatballs in tomato sauce with spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 400g of minced beef
  • 350g onions
  • 100g breadcrumbs
  • 5g dried mixed herbs
  • 1 tin tomatoes
  • 300g spaghetti

Method

  1. Finely dice the onion and fry half in a pan with a little oil until soft. Add 3g of the dried herbs and set aside to cool.
  2. In a separate pan, fry the remaining onion and dried herbs in a little oil for five minutes. Add the chopped tomatoes and simmer for five minutes.
  3. Mix the cooled onion with the minced beef and breadcrumbs and form into small balls. Fry the meatballs in a pan over a moderate heat until browned all over. Add the tomato sauce and simmer for five minutes.
  4. Cook the spaghetti in boiling water for 8-10 minutes, drain well and serve topped with the meatballs in tomato sauce.
